Catalina Foothills Named Best Suburb To Live In Arizona
Tucson's northeastern neighbor tops Niche's statewide rankings for 2021, ahead of Scottsdale and Gilbert.
"TUCSON, AZ — The unincorporated community of Catalina Foothills claimed the top spot in Niche's 2021 Best Suburb to Live in Arizona rankings.
"The enclave knocked off the likes of Scottsdale, Gilbert, Chandler and Paradise Valley — the quartet that rounded out the top-five spots in the latest rankings.
"The rankings were determined by using data from the U.S. Census Bureau, FBI, CDC and other agencies, combined with reviews from people that live in the area.
The rankings consider a variety of topics to determine a town or city's standing, including affordability, local housing market, neighborhood diversity, local public schools and walkability, to name a few.
Catalina Foothills earned high marks for its public schools, as well as its ranking for families and its nightlife options — all of which earned an A- or A+ ranking..." Read more ...

Writers are often told “just write about what you know and success will follow.” When you think about it, this is true for any profession. So when I became a real estate agent in 2012 I decided to totally concentrate on what I know best, homes and golf villas at the Ventana Canyon Golf and Racquet Club. My first transaction happened soon after I earned my license and there have been 85 more to date. Also, management at Sotheby’s presented me with customer service awards. The recognition is great but customer service is just something I do automatically, almost like breathing. And that’s the fun part of helping folks, anticipating their needs even before they think of something.
Apparently there are other factors at play here besides knowledge of upscale communities in this often unpredictable real estate market. My thinking is customer service is right up there with my years as a professional salesman and corporate owner/manager. All of these skills and experiences add to my desire to help folks. The way I see it, I simply treat everyone making a life changing decision to buy or sell a home just like I would treat myself.
